FANN forms new Education Committee

FANN board member Janine Griffiths, Green Thumb Inc. in Davie, chairs a newly formed Education Committee tasked with providing education for both FANN members and our customers, including industry professionals and the gardening public. Supporting Janine are Alyssa Lavoro, Alexander Landscaping & Plant Farm, Renee Stambaugh, Native Plant Consulting, and Frank Gabry, AAL by Frank Gabry. Janine is seeking two more FANN members, especially nursery and environmental professionals, to serve on the committee. The committee’s first and most important task is to define the education program for the annual Native Plant Show. This year’s show is expanding to put a greater emphasis on education and serve the gardening public as well as industry professionals.
