FANN members, particularly those engaged in the restoration end of our industry, may want to consider putting themselves and their firms in front of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (FAEP) to build awareness of your expertise and offerings in the professional environmental community and also strengthen relationships with consultants, agencies and municipal staff.
FAEP is a multidisciplinary professional association of environmental professionals from a variety of disciplines including biologists, scientists, geologists, environmental engineers, environmental attorneys, wetland scientists, botanists, planners, and many others that perform environmental work.
FAEP’s Southwest Chapter is hosting this year’s state conference and training symposium Sept. 22-23 in Bonita Springs (Lee County).
Opportunities to consider:
Present at the conference- JUNE 1 DEADLINE for abstracts
Restoration and Conservation are one of multiple tracks and presentations on any environmental topic in Florida are encouraged. We know native plants are a great but too often under-rated solution for many modern challenges: conserving water quality & quantity, reducing the use of fertilizers & pesticides, boosting wildlife habitat … and heck, just getting more green points on almost any certification you’re pursuing. We — that includes YOU — need to keep telling our stories every chance we get. Download the call for abstracts.
Sponsor the conference
Pre-defined sponsor benefit packages range from $250 up and can be customized. Download sponsor information.
