A founding member of FANN, who wishes to remain anonymous, has issued a $5000 match challenge for contributors to the Native Plant Horticulture Foundation, a 501c3 public charity established by FANN to expand and strengthen the native plant industry.
All donations made to the foundation by December 31, 2019, will be matched up to $5000. Donations can be made in cash or in securities, such as stock, accepted by the foundation.

To date, the foundation has focused on cultivation and recruitment of young people to the native plant industry, and promoting programs carried out by industry and conservation partners (FANN, FNPS, Florida Wildflower Foundation, FNGLA and University of Florida) to promote expanded native plant supply and demand.
