FANN is proud to announce that we are now a licensed provider of continuing education for Community Association Managers (CAMs). We’ll be working to provide CAMs with classes at the 2017 Native Plant Show.
What’s a CAM?
CAMs are the professionals licensed by the State of Florida to manage properties governed by condominium associations and homeowner associations. Community Association Managers (CAMs) have to deal with property owners and the HOA boards. That is a tough job.
Managed communities represent the majority of new housing development in Florida. Their landscape practices have a direct and big impact on the sustainability of Florida’s natural environment, particularly water quality and preservation of biodiversity. FANN wants to help CAMs be successful by providing them with the information and tools they need to adopt and maintain beautiful, economic and Real Florida-Friendly landscapes for their communities. This includes awareness of native plants and native plant professionals and how to educate their own property owners about the benefits and use.
