After 43 years of growing and selling plants, Grandiflora in Gainesville, Florida, longtime FANN member and known for long-lasting southern blooms, is closing its doors so owners Alan and Ellen can retire and travel.
Alan and Ellen Shapiro want to sell off all plant inventory by September 1 (200,000 plants available). Prices have been slashed on all plants! Some plants look great and are ideal for retail sales, landscape installation, or move up. Some are less than perfect, but need a home. Some are young but close to finishing, and we would sell at half price. Grandiflora is still delivering on their shelved trucks, or you can come pick it up and save another 5%. Also available: fertilizer, chemicals, potting soil, frost blanket and other supplies to sell, as well as tractors, potting machines, greenhouses, shade houses, tools and vehicles.
Alan and Ellen invite all to stop by and visit the nursery anytime in the coming weeks to see what you can purchase. Alan will buy you a coke and you can cruise around on a golf cart and make a list. Or, bring a semi and he’ll load you up. He does ask that you purchase a minimum of $100 of plants at each visit.
