Native plants steal the scene at Landscape Show Redux 2017
Part of FANN's booth at the 2017 FNGLA Landscape Show Redux
FANN, our members and plants were the scene stealers last week at the FNGLA Landscape Show Redux in Orlando. Attendees snatched up new Native Plant & Service Directories and saw fantastic native plants offered by more than 20 FANN growers.
Chris Holly, Sandhill Growers & Environmental Services, stands at the entry to his booth, featuring a beautiful gray picket fence and porch surrounded by native plants.
Sandhill Growers received “Best Island Exhibit” for their innovative booth crammed and surrounded with Florida native plants. Chris Holly put a modern urban twist on the ever popular picket fence by painting it gray, which made our plants glow.
Agri-Starts received special recognition for their booth and Weed Recede, a division of The Fresh Mulch Company, received “Cool New Product” award for their Gutter Guppy.
White Muhlygrass was recognized as a “cool new product” although it’s long been used in the native plant industry.
Angie Patchunka, Martin County Farms, rides along in the Uhaul to make sure our Pond Apples don’t disappear.
Steve Riefler’s beautiful naturally low-growing ‘Turtlemound’ selection of Simpson Stopper. Never gets higher than 18-24″. Are you salivating yet?
Roger Triplett and Mark Holdren of Green Seasons Nursery. Everybody enjoys these two – the jokes never stop!

Pat Hastings with Hastings Nursery had a lot of customers looking for those Palmettos.
