Founded in 2005 on the site of a repurposed 53-acre borrow pit, Florida Organic Solutions, Inc. previously operated under the name of Mother’s Organics . It serves as the parent company to three operating subsidiaries – Florida Organics Recycling LLC, Florida Organic Compost LLC, and Florida Organics Grinding LLC. Since its inception, the company has been dedicated to providing quality, bio-solid and pre-consumer food waste free compost to community gardens, landscapers and home gardeners throughout the Tampa Bay area. Recent changes have drawn the attention of commercial resellers, professional soil blenders, turf management companies and large-scale farming operations throughout the state. Florida Organic Solutions limits its feedstock to green waste and accepts tipping Monday through Saturday from municipalities, tree service companies, landscapers, and individuals. It also offers grapple service, mobile grinding, wood waste removal services, and of course – Florida’s Premier Compost, which has met the standards for OMRI listing.
