This job requires the following skills and duties:

• Basic Plant Knowledge & ID skills
• Experience with landscape and garden maintenance jobs including:
• Weeding
• Trimming & Pruning
• Electric & Manual hedge trimming
• Blowing off hard surfaces
• Lawn mowing, edging, weed-eating (we do very little of this)
• Equipment cleaning, sharpening and general maintenance
• Landscape installation experience jobs including:
• Digging holes and installing plants
• Unloading trucks
• Mulching
• Hauling plants, dirt, mulch, gravel, rocks, sod, etc.
• Clearing of ground in preparation for installation of landscapes.
• Clearing up & Hauling debris
• Personal Skills and Conditions:
• Working in a team & alone
• Self-motivated
• Able to follow written and verbal directions and instructions
• Daily Record Keeping
• Manage time effectively
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to bend, crouch, kneel, and crawl
• Ability to handle/endure high heat.

Pay commensurate with experience in the range of $15-$18 per hour.
Training and certification assistance in horticulture.
This is an apprenticeship opportunity to learn the trade with further potential available.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional Saturdays.
Must be able to be on time and have reliable transportation to the shop.
